I recently cleaned and re-installed my PC to improve its performance and moved the iTunes backup for my iPhone onto an external drive. Now I want to retrieve an important photo from the backup but I can’t find and view the backup file. Is there any easy way to access iTunes backup on an external hard drive and recover my photo?
Restore photo form backup, firstly you must transfer your backup from the external drive to your computer and save it under the folder MobileSync, them use iTunes to restore your iPhone to get the photo back. Please notice that, restore from backup will erase all the current data on your iPhone and replace your iPhone with the previous backup files, which means the files you add to your iPhone after sync or backup will be removed and lost.
